Pretty much perfect conditions heralded the visit of Windsor A's to Chinnor for this OBB league match. The first half was a tense affair with Chinnor squandering a chance for points with a missed kick at goal but neither team were able to show any dominance. Despite some strong individual work the Chinnor boys struggled to get into their stride with lots of unsupported single runs which met firm resistance from the visitors. Chinnor finally broke the deadlock and delivered on the numerous phases of attack going over in the corner ( Horne) but with the conversion just drifting left. Despite getting over the line in the second half the ball was judged to have been held up and then some fantastic defence kept Windsor out at the other end. The game was close on the day, with two sides struggling for continuity & consistency.
Overall a very scrappy performance but the boys showed real determination in defence and attack and we came away with a Home win.
