This was a game in which a few of the boys who have had limited chances in league matches had a chance to show what they can do and a number of them stepped up to the plate.
This was a hard fought game and in the end a draw was probably a fair result. The low score did not do justice to the level of entertainment provided, and both sides enjoyed long periods of dominance but were unable to find the breakthrough.
Each side scored an unconverted try in the first half, Chinnor's coming from Max Judge (who had an outstanding game) in reply to the earlier A&C score. In the second half Chinnor were under the kosh for the first fifteen minutes, during which we had a player in the bin, but finished the stronger and almost snatched it at the end when, after a long period of pressure in the A&C twenty-two, we were thwarted by an accidental offside in the shadow of the posts in the last play. Good performances all over the pitch, so well done to all the lads who played today.
