The match started well for the opposition, with Chinnor taking a little time to get up to speed. On the back foot, Chinnor were defending against repeated drives from the forwards, always shipping the ball out only to come back in to contact. This resulted in yards lost by Chinnor and the first try for Amersham & Chiltern.

With the ball in hand, Chinnor looked promising with varied success. Some good play from Chinnor resulted in four tries being scored, two of which were converted. There were also some penalties given away at the breakdown. Either ball carriers were too speedy or their support wasn't!!!

Amersham & Chiltern had a very effective centre who ran some very good lines to score a hat-trick of tries over the course of the match. It was a tight fought match with one score in it until the last five minutes of play when a breakaway try was scored. Chinnor 'Blacks' look forward to securing a win next week-end.
