Great focus from the team in the first half created four well taken tries.
Intelligent management of poor weather conditions and a sloping pitch meant that Chinnor kept Banbury pegged back in their half for the majority of the first two quarters.
Well take tries by Aslett, Constable and two from Pill, on as an early substitute following the early departure of an injured Pearce, resulted in total domination. Nicholls converted three of the four conversions and controlled the movement of play with some good kicking from the hand to keep Banbury turning to defend. Strong pressing and committed tackling from the boys resulted in too much pressure for Banbury to cope with.
The second half was more evenly match with Chinnor making six changes to allow the squad to get some game time. This disrupted play and allowed Banbury in for a well taken try which was followed with a second later in the half.
The best try of the day came with Chinnor's last. A series of aggressive drives by Pill, Aslett, Nicholls and Wooster resulted in great field play and with Church keep the ball moving quickly it was left with captain Bailey to burst through with strength, breaking several tackles before crashing in for a try.
The team is showing some great patterns of play and the benefits from committed training are really starting to shine through.
Well done boys - a credit to the Club!
