OVER the next 15 days we will be revealing our Team of the Decade for the 2010s.
Thank you to everyone who voted via social media and email – we had some clear winners and close battles for positions.
We begin with our loosehead prop and it is a strong start, with the most popular vote of the front row, Ian Stock.
As a player, he was formidable in his strong carries and huge hits. In the changing rooms, he was an inspiration; anyone lucky enough to witness his pre-game talk, will know how passionate he is about rugby and his teammates.
As a Club man, he was phenomenal. Either in his role as Club Captain or just socially, the majority of the Club know this man. As do most the pubs in Thame!
A true legacy of Chinnor, and a great start to our Team of the Decade.
Special mentions must also go to Joe Winpenny and Ricky Cano who both received a healthy number of votes.
