OVER the next week we will be continuing to reveal our Team of the Decade for the 2010s.
Thank you to everyone who voted via social media and email – we had some clear winners and close battles for positions.
We now start off the back row unit, which has been fiercely contested, with James Tyas at blindside flanker.
During several stints at the Club, James has proven his quality as a player, as well as offering valuable game analysis, and being a line-out maestro.
His passion for rugby transfers onto the pitch, where he is an intelligent and abrasive wing forward. Ever striving to improve, he can often be found doing extras before and after training, as well as offering advice to up-and-coming young players.
Defensively steadfast, elusive with his footwork and a solid skill set, he epitomises modern day rugby players. Also, Mr nice guy, and an absolute gent to teammates, the members and fans.
