Thanks to the hard work of members of the Board, staff and volunteers, we were able to reopen the Marquee Bar with government guidelines strictly followed.

The first session, held between 1-5pm, attracted 80 people, with 50 attending the 6-10pm slot.

Each table had its own designated server, wearing a visor, with screens installed at the bar.

It was understandably a completely different experience for our members, but still an enjoyable one.

Club Steward, Will Brewer said: “It was a great atmosphere from players to ex-players to the Board and their families, to the Friday Club.

“It was a relief to reopen. It’s been a long four months and it’s amazing to have the Club up and running again.”

Future openings are yet to be decided, but we will provide an update shortly.
