Chinnor Director of Rugby Matt Williams is delighted to announce the signing of backrow forward Joe Vandermolen from Championship side Bedford Blues.

The 24 year old Number 8, who is also comfortable on either flank has been a key member of Bedford's team over the last 3 seasons, winning player's player of the year in 2014.

Matt Williams commented, "I am delighted to welcome Joe to Chinnor. He is a very powerful player who loves running hard with ball in hand. Joe is also a top bloke off the pitch and will bring a real professional work ethic and understanding."

Joe commented, "Even though I'm relatively young I feel I have achieved all I can from Professional Rugby and loved my time at Bedford. Having spoken to several clubs I was really impressed with the ambition and what's going on at Chinnor. The squad Matt is building feels exciting...It's a good time to be joining the club!"

Chinnor have also further retained leading try scorer Reuben Haile, Sam Angell, George Grose, Robbie Martey and Darren Oliver.
